We use your information to:

• Track your quit smoking progress
• Calculate savings and health milestones
• Provide personalized insights and recommendations
• Improve app functionality and user experience

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal information
• Share your data with advertisers
• Use your data for marketing purposes
• Operate a third-party analytics or advertising tracker

Data Storage and Security

• All personal data is stored locally on your device
• iCloud sync is not available in this release
• Private quit data is not uploaded to Apple iCloud or CloudKit by this app in v1
• Public community posting is disabled for this release
• If sync or public community features are enabled in a future version, they will require a separate privacy and App Review readiness pass
• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• We follow Apple's security best practices
• No data is sent to third-party advertising or analytics servers

HealthKit Integration

If you enable HealthKit:

• We write "Mindful Minutes" when you complete breathing exercises
• We do not read Apple Health data in this release
• We do not send HealthKit data to CloudKit, community features, or third-party services
• You can stop future writes in this app and revoke HealthKit access in Apple Health or iOS Settings

Your Rights

• Access your personal data (all visible in-app)
• Delete your data (delete the app to remove all local data)
• Keep iCloud sync off because it is not available in this release
• Revoke HealthKit permissions

Children's Privacy

HonestQuit is intended for users 17 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 17.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date.
